Born and raised on the Central Coast, Charles has over 15 years sales and mortgage servicing experience. Prior to joining the loan and finance industry he worked in the field of telecommunications serving as a Consultant, District Manager, Sales Trainer then Executive Director of Sales for a telephone company based in Simi Valley, CA.

Charles is credited with building new districts from infancy and creating an innovative billing system called "Electronic Management Reporting" (EMR), allowing larger businesses to quickly search and document telephone usage and patterns while "saving a tree" in printing. Charles says, "I’m proud to have worked with and competed against some of the most influential businesses and persons in our area. Everything I love is here, so when it was requested that I move out of the area for continued employment I declined and decided to change industries. I was born here. I believe I will retire here."

Married now for over 17 years, Charles is a proud husband and father. Favorite family activities include camping, hiking, trips to the beach, movies and board games. He has many hobbies including surfing, mountain biking and sailing. His "alter ego" has him performing as lead singer in a band. Charles notes jokingly, "I’ve always loved writing music. We do live gigs, have copyrighted songs, a CD and we’ve even had some radio play! But I’ve never been convinced I should quit my day job."
