Celebrating over 27 years in SLO County...Roxanne has more than 30 years as a Mortgage Banking professional. Before turning her talents and energies to The Mortgage House, Ms. Carr was the West Coast Regional Vice President for ARCS Mortgage, Inc, one of the nation's leading mortgage bankers where she supervised the operations of 27 branches. Under her leadership, ARCS was recognized as the #1 mortgage lender in San Luis Obispo County and the company reigned as one of the nation’s leading mortgage bankers.
She was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Cuesta College Foundation and is also a Director for the UCSB San Luis Obispo County Economic Forecast, Mission Community Bank, Cuesta Title Company, and the Home Builders Association of the Central Coast. She truly believes in giving back to her community and served several years on the United Way Board, the SLO Chamber of Commerce Board, was top vote-getter in CASA’s (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Kiss the Pig Contest in 1995, is a proud member of the SLO Monday Rotary Club and is actively involved with many other worthy organizations, including the Women’s Shelter and various Music and Arts groups. Roxanne serves on advisory boards for the local SLO County Housing Trust Fund and the Workforce Housing Coalition and previously finished a term with the Prado Homeless Shelter.
She was named Businesswoman of the Year by The Tribune in 1995, and
Roxanne Carr was named the 2003 Betty Nielsen Volunteer of the Year by Cuesta College.
Roxanne truly enjoys working with her "fabulous" team and is known for being a forward thinker...plus unusual - she married her husband, Rod Levin, a noted local Architect, in Paris, France in a many-centuries old cathedral while in their bicycling togs (albeit fancy ones). Together they are proud of and thoroughly enjoy their children and grandchildren.
