Q: My fiancé and I purchased a home about a year ago. I believe that the mortgage stipulated we were to be primary residents in the home. However, after a year, we have found that our circumstances have changed and we need to move. I am wondering: 1) Do we need special permission from our mortgage company to rent? 2) How do we find out if there are zoning laws prohibiting us to rent? 3) Is there a standard leasing form that we can use, or do we have to use something mandated by the state?
