A true professional, Mary Trudeau has been involved in various aspects of mortgage lending since 1987. She began her career as a traveling Notary and insurance sales agent in the Tri-Counties of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Monterey and moved on to become a mortgage loan processor and eventually a Loan Officer. She owned and managed a mortgage lending operation of her own before joining Heritage Oaks Bank several years ago.

Mary has always been intrigued by the mortgage lending process, and her extensive experience covers all aspects – origination, underwriting, document preparation, loan funding and closing, plus pricing and packaging loans for the secondary mortgage market. This variety of duties has helped her become uniquely suited to oversee every step of the process to ensure timely and efficient closings, and to train and manage the responsibilities of other loan officers under her care.

She and her husband, Wade, manager of SLO Wine Storage, are proud parents of two sons. In her spare time, Mary enjoys spending time with family and friends, loves to read, walk her dogs and make pottery for entertainment and relaxation.
